General Inquiries

  • We offer a variety of dance styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, pom dance, modern, contemporary, and more! You can find a complete list of our classes here.

  • Absolutely! All of our classes are beginner-friendly.

    The great part about joining a new dance school is that you or your child won't be the only "new kid".

  • Yes, once we've opened our doors in August, you are welcome to observe a class. Please contact us to schedule a viewing time.

  • Our class fees are listed here.

  • August 26!

    But keep an eye our for events before our official opening date.

  • The age cut-off for registration is August 31. However, if your child's birthday falls within four months of this date, you may use your discretion. We generally recommend that new dancers join the younger age group if there is any uncertainty or if it better fits your schedule. Nevertheless, we understand there may be reasons to choose the older class, such as keeping siblings or friends together or accommodating your schedule.

  • Elevate Motion Studio offers a nurturing and safe space for children to explore dance through small class sizes, expert adult instructors, age-appropriate choreography, and a focus on movement safety. We combine a proven curriculum with passionate instructors to create a positive and rewarding dance experience for every child.

Registration and Enrollment

  • You can register for a class online through our online portal, which you can find here.

  • We recommend registering for classes as soon as possible, as spots can fill up quickly. However, we will accept registrations any time if space is available. Keep in mind that dancers registering after January 2025 may not be able to participate in our spring recital due to limited rehearsal time–but students will still get a lot out of class!

Attire and Dancewear

  • Most classes require a uniform, available at our store.

    No uniform needed for Tall & Small, Creative Dance, Hip Hop, and adult classes.

    You'll get more information in our handbook once you sign up.

  • Most dance styles require special shoes as part of the uniform.

    Tall & Small and Creative Dance classes: For safety and comfort, please have your children dance barefoot.

  • Yes, we have a dress code for most classes. Our uniforms are chosen to allow for optimal movement. Uniforms allow our instructors to easily assess technique and quickly spot problems in alignment without distractions. We take the safety and health of our dancers seriously. You can find and order uniforms from our Nimbly storefront after you sign up.

  • Our uniforms are standard dancewear, priced competitively, and designed for optimal comfort and learning. They’re available at our online dancewear store for easy shopping, and mostly consistent across age groups (except for specialized shoes).

Performances and Recitals

  • Yes! Dance is a performing art, and showcasing your progress is an exciting part of the experience. We will have a recital in spring 2025, with more information provided later. Participation is optional, but highly encouraged.

  • There are no additional fees for recitals – they're included in your monthly membership! Each student receives two tickets with the option to purchase more closer to the date.

  • While we never say never, we don’t consider ourselves a competition studio. Our focus is on community performances and travel opportunities for those who want to enrich their dance education.
